Designer Collection Galleries (2021)
OPPORTUNITY
Redesigning the galleries presented an opportunity to encourage dynamic user engagement while unlocking new revenue streams. By enhancing user flows, encouraging prolonged engagement, and seamlessly integrating ads, we could improve the overall experience without disrupting the visual and editorial appeal.
CHALLENGE
Outdated ad logic and inconsistencies across devices caused navigation friction and limited users’ ability to fully explore Vogue Runway’s fashion show coverage. The challenge was to design a scalable, user-centric solution that balanced improved usability with business objectives across a variety of gallery formats.

RESULTS
The redesigned galleries seamlessly blended immersive exploration with optimized ad placements, leading to higher user engagement and extended session durations. This scalable framework became a model for gallery design across other Condé Nast properties, including The New Yorker and PhotoVogue.
